Symptom

Personal Information records are important for the Global People Search. If one record is missing, then the person cannot be found.

Missing Personal Information record with Effective Start Date the same as the Job Information Hire record

Resolution

Please import Personal Information for the people listed in the check result.

Note: You can use the "Person Id External" from the Check Result to import the missing Personal Information data (as the Person Id External is the value required to perform a Personal Information import - not UserID).

FAQ - Additional Information

Q) How can I find a user with their Person Id External?
A) You will need to run a Person and Employment Export Ad Hoc report on the column set "Employment Info" > select "person-id-external" and "user-id". You can add a filter for the person-id-external from the Check Result to find the related UserID. Then you will be able to find them in People Profile and the rest of the system.

Q) Can I correct the issue from the UI?

A) Yes, it does not need to be done via import. You can make the correction via the UI by going to My Employee Files > search for the user and then use the Pencil icon to add a Personal Information record on the same Effective Date as their Job Information record.
