Resolution

What is it?

It is now possible to use the Admin Check Tool to check Career Worksheet template. This release represents just the first such check that will allow customers to ensure their configurations are successful.
This check tool will help you to understand if job profile builder (jpb) switch is ON for your Career Worksheet. If jpb switch is OFF for Career Worksheet then you would get warning message on running this check tool.

Why is it important?

Customers can now more fully understand what behavior will result from their configuration of Career Worksheet and Job Profile Builder.

Prerequisites

▫Career Worksheet is enabled

▫Job Profile Builder is enabled

Procedure

  • Go to Admin Center
  • Under Company Settings click on 'Check Tool'
  • Select Development module and then Career Worksheet, as below:

If you have JPB enabled in your system you need to have the switch for JPB set to 'on' in the Career Worksheet template:

    <switches>

    <switch for="disable-jpb-profile-in-cws" value="off"/>

    </switches>

Not having the above configuration, will mean that the Career Worksheet, will pull the job description from the legacy JDM framework, which may have different job descriptions to those maintained in JPB.
