2676991 - SAP Analytics Foundation - Dependency missing when installing via HDBALM

Symptom

When installing SAP Analytics Foundation via HDBALM on a HANA 2 database, installation fails due to a dependency check, and the following entries are recorded in the installation log:

  • The product SAP ANALYTICS FOUNDATION (sap.com) [instance 1], has missing dependencies. Check product installation prerequisites
  • Product instances dependency information:
  • [{"installing_name":"SAP ANALYTICS FOUNDATION","installing_vendor":"sap.com","installing_version":"1.0","installing_instance":"1","dependent_name":"SAP NEWDB","dependent_vendor":"sap.com","dependent_version":"1.0","dependent_instance":"2","sp_interval_info":{"op":">=","version":"8"}}]
