2677049 - The Attendee Is Automatically Determined when Creating an Appointment Within the Customer Work Center


You are creating an Appointment as a follow up from Account and by default the main contact is getting defaulted maintained either as Contact and Attendee on Involved Parties of Account, even though the determination for the Attendee Party Role is disabled on Fine-Tunning Activity.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Customers work center.
  2. Go to the Accounts view.
  3. Open the Account ABC (ABC represents the Account ID).
  4. Go to the Activities facet.
  5. Click on New button to create a new Appointment.
  6. Fill in the mandatory information.
  7. Click on Save and Open button.
  8. In the Involved Parties table the main contact of the account is maintained either as Attendee and Contact.


The Attendee will be defaulted with the main contact when creating Appointments from an Account/Contact work center. This logic is currently hardcoded, and not based on the fine-tuning determination for Attendee.

If there is no main contact, the system will choose the first contact/ the contact which has been connected with the account for the longest amount of time.


This is the standard behaviour of the system.
