2677178 - "Remove Invalid Action" error when importing Learning Assignment data via the Import Data tool

When importing data for Learning Assignment via the Import Data Tool and attempting to remove assignments, it is failing with a comment: Remove Invalid action

Prerequisite:

• Fill out the Learning Assignment template with the data that needs updating.
• On the Action column, enter "Remove" to remove these learning assignments from the users specified in the import file

Steps:

1. Login as LMS admin
2. Go to System Administration > System Management Tools > Import Data
3. Choose "Learning Assignment" from the Entity Type dropdown
4. On the Import Option, choose "Add"
5. Select the file from your computer
6. Submit
7. Notice the Status says "Failed" and when downloading and reviewing the Error Log, in the Comment column it says "Remove Invalid action"

The Import Option "Add" is used to add Learning Assignments to users and not to remove them.

To remove the Learning assignments via the Import Data tool, in the Import Option dropdown select either:

• Update (If you are just updating/removing an existing Learning Assignment)

OR

• Add and Update (If you are also assigning some new Learning Items to users in the same input file)
