2677216 - Region "Warwicks." Shows As Obsolete

Symptom

While checking the Regions activity, you noticed that the region Warwickshire is marked as Obsolete.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
  2. In the Overview View, search for "Regions".
  3. Then open the activity.
  4. You will notice that Warwicks is obsolete.

Cause

The region 'Warwicks. (Obsolete)' was obsoleted in the system because it is an abbreviation of Warwickshire. This abbreviation was causing confusion during region selection, as 'Warwicks.' is similar to the city name 'Warwick'.

Resolution

Currently this is the expected system behavior.
