2677588 - Business Partner is overwritten when CIFed from 2 different ERP boxes

Symptom

  • There are two ERP systems connected to a single instance of TM (Transportation Management).
  • Business Partners with the same id are overriding each other when CIFing.
  • Business Partner number ranges are the same on both ERP systems.
  • In transaction BP on the TM system, the Responsible Institution holds the Logical System ID of the latest system from which the partner was CIF'ed. 
  • It is expected that two exclusive business partners should be created rather than one.
