Symptom
SSO needs to be set up for the Open Content Network in provisioning, as this OCN provider is being integrated into the LMS
NOTE: This implementation can only be made by Partners, SAP Implementation Team or Support that has access to Customers Provisioning tool.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Learning
Resolution
- Log in to Provisioning >
- Go to the Authorized SP Consumer Service section >
- Enter the URL provided into the Assertion Consumer Service (this URL must be provided by the vendor) >
- Leave Logout URL, Audience URL, and SP Mapping Key fields blank >
- Set the Application Name to "Other Application" >
- Save the changes.
Example URL for LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/checkpoint/enterprise/saml/[#####]?application=learning&appInstanceId=[#####]
Note:
- the [####] are numbers that should be in the URL that are unique per customer;
- This setup should be done by the Partner during the implementation phase. In case it was missed, support team may assist you further. Please submit a support ticket to the LOD-SF-LMS-OCN component explaining the issue;
- If the vendor provides metadata/certificate to be imported, this is not a requirement for SSO to work nor is this supported by SAP.
