Symptom
LinkedIn SSO needs to be set up in provisioning as this OCN provider is being implemented into the LMS
NOTE: This implementation can only be made by Partners, SAP Implementation Team or Support that has access to Customers Provisioning tool.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Learning
Resolution
- Log in to Provisioning
- Go to the Authorized SP Consumer Service section
- Place in the URL provided into the Assertion Consumer Service (that has to be provided by the vendor)
- Leave Logout URL, Audience URL, SP Mapping Key Blank
- Set the Application Name to Other Application
- Save the changes.
Example URL: https://www.linkedin.com/checkpoint/enterprise/saml/[#####]?application=learning&appInstanceId=[#####]
Note:
- the [####] are numbers that should be in the URL that are unique per customer
- This setup should be done by the partner during the implementation phase. In case it was missed, support team may assist you further. Please submit a support ticket explaining the issue.
- If LinkedIn provides metadata/certificate to be imported, this is not a requirement for SSO to work nor is this supported by SAP.
