2677751 - "Cannot load InfoProvider" in BIP when Lumira Designer Document is using Hana Olap Connection

Symptom

When running the Lumira Designer dashboard in BIP, it fails with error below:

"Cannot load InfoProvider "cuid:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/xxxxxxxxx" (data provider "DS_1": No service implementation available)"

In the logs, it is possible to find similar errors as below:

  • Caused by: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: java.security.cert.CertPathBuilderException: Could not build a validated path.

  • com.sap.ip.bi.conv.dac.res.ina.java.execptions.INAConnectionException: Unknown Error

  • com.sap.ip.bi.base.service.connection.impl.ConnectionException: No connection factory found for type cuid:AWsIETibVmxHmOXSaqbUBqY/HTTP.

  • java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect (local port 51603 to address 0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0, remote port 6400 to address 0:0:0:0:0:0:0:1 (UST2A023.kcc.com))

  • java.lang.ClassCastException: Cannot cast class com.crystaldecisions.sdk.occa.security.internal.SecurityTokenServiceFactory to interface com.crystaldecisions.enterprise.ocaframework.IServiceHandlerFactory

  • com.sap.ip.bi.conv.dac.res.ina.java.execptions.INAConnectionException: Unknown Error

  • Caused by: com.sap.ip.bi.conv.dac.res.ina.java.execptions.BicsHttpInaRuntimeException: Unexpected exception

  • Caused by: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: java.security.cert.CertPathBuilderException: Could not build a validated path.
