Symptom



    

  • Installation failed with return code 255
    • 

  • The error message in $SYBASE/log/IQ_Suite.log. 

    This sample is an error message that has appeared the install for SAP IQ server module. The error message is     possible to appear on the other module installation.

    

    


    
Installing SAP IQ Server
    Custom Action : com.sybase.ia.ia_db.RunComponentInstallerAction
    Status: FATAL ERROR
    Additional Notes : FATAL ERROR - class com.sybase.ia.ia_db.RunComponentInstallerAction FatalInstallException: SAP IQ Server installation failed. See log file /opt/SAPIQ/log/iq_server.log for details.    		

    
    

    

    iq_server.log file doesn't create in /opt/SAPIQ/log. But, the below error message has created in /opt/SAPIQ/log/iq_server.out file.

    

    


    
The size of the extracted files to be installed are corrupted. Please try to download the installer again and make sure that you download using 'binary' mode.
    Please do not attempt to install this currently downloaded copy.
