2678106 - label.NoCourseDatesScheduled is not available in Catalog 3.0

Symptom

In Catalog 2.0, there is a message informing that there are no course dates scheduled for Instructor-Led courses, but in Catalog 3.0, this message is not displayed anymore.

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

Reproducing the Issue

1. Enable Catalog 3.0 in the CATALOG system configuration file.

2. As a user, go to the Learning Catalog and search for an Instructor-Led course that has no Scheduled Offering.

3. The message that appeared in Catalog 2.0 is not showing up:

Cause

The label label.NoCourseDatesScheduled that displays this message is not used in the Catalog 3.0

Resolution

Although you cannot see this message in Catalog 3.0, there are other ways to identify if a course has a scheduled offering.

It's possible to refine your search to show courses that have scheduled offering only, for example.

Also, courses that have a Scheduled Offering will display a link to see all the available offerings.
