2678701 - Differences on measures scales in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for Combination & Line charts

  • When using a Combination Column & Line chart  in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) the scale for the measure values on the column is not starting at the same level than the one for the measure values on the line.

  • SAP Analytics Cloud

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a Combination Column & Line chart with restricted measures on the Column Axis and in the Line Axis
  2. Add an Input Control dimension
  3. Make sure the X and Y Axis labels are displayed.
  4. The zero value for the scale on the left for columns doesn't start at the same level than the zero value on the right scale corresponding to the line values.

Chart scaling has mostly two effects:

  1. Align pixel density on charts.
  2. Align axis range on charts.

Turn on "Dynamically Set Min/Max" in the Bubble Chart on the x-axis, in order to opt it out of chart scaling.
