2678992 - How to Migrate Visits Using Migration Activity

Symptom

You want to migrate Visits using the Migration activity, however you are not able to find it in Activity list.

Environment

SAP Cloud For Customers

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Business Configuration work center
  2. Select Overview view
  3. Search the activity Migration of Visits

The activity is not found.

Cause

There is no separate activity to import Visits.

Resolution

Migration of Appointments is the activity using which you may import visits. You may access the activity following below steps:

  1. Go to Business Configuration work center
  2. Select Overview view
  3. Search the activity Migration of Appointments Activities
  4. Select Migrate Appointmnt Activity using the Migration Tool

Using this activity you can import visits.

Note:
The category needs to be maintained as 0027 when you want to migrate visits.
This is what differentiates the appointment migration template for a visit.
