Symptom

  •  During a SAP system Upgrade/Update, an error takes place in phase DDIC_ACTIVATION, ACT_UPG or ACT_TRANS:
Error in phase: DDIC_ACTIVATION
Reason for error: TP_STEP_FAILURE
Return code: 8
Error message: OCS Package SAPKE604C5, tp step "A", return code 0008

The following errors or warnings have occurred:
Indexes PBD and Z1 for table PTEX2000 have identical fields
Index PTEX2000 PBD could not be activated
 (E- SYB ( SYBASE ) )
