Nomination Portlet in People Profile

To configure the Nominations portlet in the People Profile, follow the below steps:

1. Define the background element in the Succession Data Model via Provisioning.

2. Add role-based permissions for succession planning to the relevant roles.

The "View" permission for the Nominations portlet needs to be granted by going to Admin Center > Manage Permission Roles > select role > "Employee Data" section > enable View permissions for the "Nominations Portlet".

Note: If a user has succession planning permission, then Current Nominations portlet includes the option to Add (nominate) the employee as a successor to another position or edit existing nominations. The "Add" button will always be available if the user has Succession Planning permission, because the target population of this permission controls for which positions you can add successors, but you can nominate anyone for these positions. The ability to edit existing nominations will be restricted according to your Succession Planning permission target population.

3. To add the portlets to the People Profile, go to Admin Center >  Employee Files >  Configure People Profile > drag the Nominations portlet to an available slot > save it. 

4. Adjust the following settings under > Admin Center > "Nominations Set Up" to meet your requirements:

Option	Description
Filter Current Nominations portlet data by Succession Planning permissions	When you select this option, the Current Nominations portlet only shows nominations to positions or people for which the current user has Succession Planning permissions i.e. it will filter nomination by planning permission target population.
Show the # of hidden nominations in Current Nominations portlet	When you select this option, if one or more nominations are hidden because the user does not have Succession Planning permission for those employees, the number of hidden nominations is displayed. This option can provide some insight to the larger succession plan, but you should only select it in accordance with the data policies of your organization.
Hide pending nominations on the scorecard portlets from all users	When you select this option, pending nominations are not shown in either the Current Nominations or Successors portlets. If you do not select this option, then pending nominations are displayed with an orange asterisk (*).

Nomination section in Talent Card

Pre-requisites: Complete the steps 1 and 2 from the above procedure.

Then, go to Admin Center >  Manage Talent Card > Succession Talent Card > Select Current Nomination section and add.
