2680547 - query fails internal error at opt_Union.cxx - regression since SP02 PL06 - SAP IQ 16.1

Symptom

  • SQL statements like INSERTS working fine prior to IQ 16.1 SP02 PL07 now fail with Non-Fatal error detected at opt_Union.cxx:1212

  • These queries will contain UNION ALL views and outer joins.

  • accompanying messages seen in the iqmsg file

ErrID: 9216 (df_Exception); SQLCode: -1006000, SQLState: 'QBA00'

  • stack trace produced...
