When the Project Manager modifies the time for any employee, the time entry is not going for approval but getting directly released to accounting
Environment
SAP Business ByDesign
Reproducing the Issue
-
Go to Time Administration work center
- Select view Timesheet
- Navigate to Time Entry
- Make changes in the time recorded by employee and save
The changed entry gets released to accounting directly without going through approval
Cause
The Project Manager i,e Project responsible person himself is modifying the time , so it is not required to go through approval again.
Hence the time entry gets released directly to accounting
Resolution
Please ask the respective employee to make the necessary changes whenever required. Then the system will trigger approval task for Project manager before the modified value gets released
