2680810 - SWPM: Immediate start not currently possible

Symptom

  • A system copy is performed using Software Provisioning Manager (SWPM). On the SWPM UI in browser the following error is displayed:

    The JVM reports an exception during execution of class ( com.sap.sdt.ins.component.nw_ci_instance_abap_reports.RunRSWBOINS ) and function executeStepClass. DETAILS: The reported error message from JVM is: java.lang.Exception: Immediate start not currently possible

    or

    The JVM reports an exception during execution of class ( com.sap.sdt.ins.component.nw_ci_instance_abap_reports.RunRADDBDIF ) and function executeStepClass. DETAILS: The reported error message from JVM is: java.lang.Exception: Immediate start not currently possible

        or

The JVM reports an exception during execution of class ( com.sap.sdt.ins.component.nw_c i_instance_abap_reports.RunRSWBOINS ) and function executeStepClass. DETAILS: The reported error message from JVM is: java.lang.Exception: Internal problem (function BAPI_XBP_JOB_START_IMMEDIATELY

 or

The JVM reports an exception during execution of class ( com.sap.sdt.ins.component.nw_ci_instance_abap_reports.RunRUTTTYPSET ) and function executeStepClass. DETAILS: The reported error message from JVM is: java.lang.Exception: Immediate start not currently possible at com.sap.sdt.ins.nw.batchjob.BatchJob.start(BatchJob.java:217)

  • In transaction ST22 there are no dumps related to the report *RSWBOINS / *RADDBDIF / *RUTTTYPSET
