2680972 - Maintenance Requirement Workbench (MBX) Instability

Symptom

There is some instability in Maintenance Requirement Workbench wherein when a user tries to change the status other than “RE” or “AL” there is an ABAP Programming dump related to /AXONMBX/SAPLSHELL program. Also, the characteristic value under effectivity tab gets vanished when a MBXJOB is executed via transaction code AXONX/MBXJOB. This does not allow functional location to get linked with the MOD Document. Due to this no operative notification or MPLAN is created for further process.
