Symptom

  • Candidates's applications' status should not be visible by those who referred them including if/when the candidate applied.

Environment

Resolution

  1. Admin Center>Edit Applicant Status Configuration
  2. Click on the applicable Status Set
  3. For the status you don't want the referrer to see, click on Take Action>Edit
  4. Uncheck the "Visible to Referrer" checkbox next to "Employee Referral Program Settings" section:

In case you don't want the referral to see many different statuses, each status needs to be configured.

Note:

  1. If the current status is invisible to the referrer, it won't show a blank status on the referral tracking page, instead it will continue showing the previous visible status.
  2. If no previous status is visible or none of the statuses are made visible to the referrer, it will show the following default statuses accordingly:
    • Not Applied
    • Candidate has Applied
  3. It is impossible to show a blank status by leaving the Referrer Label field as blank or entering a space character in the field. It will show the above default statuses.
