Symptom
- DBCC checkverify does not report any output
- After running DBCC checkverify the following is reported:
The last completed DBCC CHECKSTORAGE for this database has been processed. You must perform another DBCC CHECKSTORAGE before you can use CHECKVERIFY or CHECKREPAIR. Use sp_dbcc_summaryreport to view the DB Verifying faults for '<database>'.
DBCC CHECKVERIFY for database '<database>' encountered an error. Correct the reported problem reported and execute the CHECKVERIFY command again.
- Dbcc checkverify should return the following:
DBCC CHECKVERIFY for database '<database>' sequence 1898 completed at Aug 10 2018 7:31AM. 0 suspect conditions considered, 0 identified as faults, 0 identified as harmless, and 0 could not be checked. 0 Verifying faults for 'master'.
- The following error is reported on the cache dedicated for checkstorage:
00:0002:00000:00239:2018/08/14 10:03:14.86 server The 128K memory pool of named cache Check_Storage_Cache (cache id 12, cachelet id 1) is configured too small for current demands (state 4). Transaction progress may cease or response time may increase.
