2682026 - Cannot Output Request For Quotation

Symptom

The user has released a Request for Quotation (RFQ) with an attachment. However the output status is "Error".

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Sourcing and Contracting work center.
  2. Open Requests for Quotation view.
  3. Search and open ABC (ABC refers to the RFQ ID).
  4. Navigate to Output History.
    The status is "Error"
  5. Open the error.

The details are: 

  • An output error occurred
  • No delivery to DEF (DEF refers to the receiver's email address).

Cause

The size of the attachment is over 10 MB.

Resolution

There is no particular limitation on the size of attachment inside RFQ.

However, if sent if email, the limitation is 10 MB.

Workaround: the user can upload the attachment to external netdisc. Then the URL can be attached in the RFQ.
