2682028 - Error "The plant XXXX does not exist for sales organization XXXX/distribution channel XX" when creating a material via create material app or via Migration Cockpit in S/4 HANA Public Cloud

• The error "The plant 1234 does not exist for sales organization 1234/distribution channel 12"occurs when you create or extend a material to a sales organization in "create material" app.
• While trying to create a Product via the Migration Cockpit the error "The plant 1234 does not exist for sales organization 1234/distribution channel 12" is encountered

Note: Here 1234 is referring to the concerned Plant or Sales Organization and Distribution channel

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Go to the "Create material" app to create a material.
2. In the "Sales: sales org.1" tab, you fill the Delivering Plant.
3. Error "The plant XXXX does not exist for sales organization XXXX /distribution channel XX" occurs.

Or

1. Go to the application "Migrate Your Data".
2. Create a Migration Project and the required Migration Object "Product".
3. Simulate the Data.

This error occurs due to missing customizing in the SSCUI 102287 - Assign Sales Organization - Distribution Channel - Plant.

Follow below steps for maintaining customer account group in Manage Your Solution' app:

1. Open 'Manage Your Solution' app.
2. Navigate to 'Configure Your Solution'.
3. Search for the ID '500199'.
4. Choose configuration activity '102287 - Assign Sales Organization - Distribution Channel - Plant'.
5. Add the new entry.
6. Maintain required plant and Sales Organization and the Distribution channel.

In case while using SAP Central Business Configuration (CBC) :

Log on to the project experience in SAP Central Business Configuration.

1. Select the relevant project.
2. Navigate to the configurations activity tab.
3. Search for the configuration activity '102287 - Assign Sales Organization - Distribution Channel - Plant'.
4. Select the configuration activity to navigate directly to the SAP S/4HANA Cloud system.
5. Add the new entry.
6. Maintain required plant and Sales Organization and the Distribution channel.
