2682086 - Mandatory Date filter / Required Parameters / Default Date Range filters at Run time in Report Canvas / ORD reports for the Learning Sub Domain Schema

• All ORD Reports / Canvas Reports built with the Learning Sub Domain Schema display a Date Range filter with 'From Date' and 'To Date' while being executed.(Run time filters)
• These filters cannot be removed, The date fields relevant to these filters depend on the source schema used in the report.
• This article explains the same.

As mentioned, the date fields to which the filters are applied, depends on the learning schema used in the report.

• User Curriculum Item Status Report : Curriculum Assignment Date
• Learning Item Assignment and History Report : Assignment Date
• Schedule Offering Registration Report : Registration Date
• Item Progress Report : Assignment Date
• Item Cost and Order Information Report : Item Creation Date
• Item Evaluation Report : Survey Assigned Date
• Program Data Report : Program Assigned Date

NOTE:

• The date range filter is applied in preview page. The dates filtered out in this page has default time range of last 3 months.
• Hence last three months data is displayed in the preview page. Mandatory date filters are ignored in preview mode.
• Mandatory date filters are applied only in run mode. Report can be run in download mode by exporting  to csv, xls, xlsx etc or downloading.
• When the reports are downloaded/exported, the data is filtered by the assignment dates based on run time filter with given time range.
