Symptom
When editing work schedule in the job info records and select the 'Find a Work Schedule' link all work schedules configured in the system will appear. Instead it should display only the work schedules linked to the legal entities configured.
Environment
Employee Central, Time Off
Reproducing the Issue
- WorkSchedule object definition is not Secured.
- Association to Legal Entity exists in the WorkSchedule object definition.
- Specific Legal Entities are configured in Manage Data > Work Schedule under the Legal Entity section.
- Edit/create a job info record and select the link 'Find a Work Schedule' all the work schedules configured in the system will be listed. Instead it should show only the spcific work schedules linked to the work schedule.
Resolution
This is a current system limitation, the assosiations will work on the job info UI however it will not work on the work schedule finder. The technical background is that the work schedule finder does not have the context of the job info which has the legal entity assigned. So, the work schedule finder is only searching work schedules that are in the system without taking the valid association into account.
There is an enhancement created by our engineering team to be implemented in a future release.
