Understanding when "Recruiting Interviewer Notifications" are triggered compared to "Upcoming Interview Notifications"

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Reproducing the Issue

Recruiting Interviewer Notification → For Interview Central Only

  1. Go to Job Application → Set up Interview
  2. Add Interviewer and select time → Email triggers
  3. Notification is sent from E-mail Notification Templates → Recruiting Interviewer Notification 

Resolution

Recruiting Interviewer Notification

  • Configured through: Admin Center > Email Notification Templates Settings
  • Applied when Interview Central is used and Interview Scheduling is NOT enabled.
  • Sent to interviewers immediately after an interview is set up via "Set up Interviewers" in the candidate application.
  • This template cannot be disabled.

Upcoming Interview Notification

  • Configured through: Admin Center > Recruiting Email Triggers
  • Applied only when Interview Scheduling is enabled.
  • Sent to interviewers whenever a deleted job requisition is restored, provided there are upcoming interviews associated with the restored requisition.
