2682581 - The VLS Configuration is not in proper XML format

When updating or creating a new VLS Configuration the following error appears:

"Validation Error

You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:

• The VLS Configuration is not in proper XML format."

SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS)

1. Log into Learning as an Admin User
2. Click on System Admin > Configuration > VLS Configuration
3. Edit or Add New Configuration
4. Click on Apply Changes Error appears

Main Cause:

There is a typo error in the XML file. Check for an & (ampersand) in the username or password in the Configuration file.

& is a special character in the XML language.

1. Attempt to copy in the XML Configuration template in again.
2. Remove the & (ampersand) from the username and password. You will need to amend your password in Webex accordingly.
3. Apply Changes.
4. Error should no longer appear.

In case that the Username contains &, a new username will be required.
