Symptom
The Compensation worksheets are already launched and you promote an employee via Employee/People Profile and that Promotion has been approved.
In the compensation worksheet the New Job Code and New Job Title can be seen in the current Job Code and Job Title fields but it is not reflecting in the Final Job Code and Final Job Title. Also, the Final Compa-Ratio is still being calculated using the previous Job’s Salary and Salary Range.
Environment
SuccessFactors Compensation Management
Reproducing the Issue
1. Pick a user from one compensation worksheet you want to Promote.
2. Go to this selected user's Profile (Employee Profile or People Profile) and Promote him/her.
3. Once the promotion has been approved the Job Code and Job Title changed this means that job related fields in the compensation worksheet for this user should be updated or pick up this new job details.
4. Upon checking the compensation worksheet what changed or got updated is only the Job Code and Job Title not the Final Job Code and Final Job Title.
Cause
The EC Promotion in Compensation only supports promotion made within the compensation worksheet.
Resolution
If you want the Promotion made outside compensation worksheet appear in your launched compensation worksheet you can either promote your user first before launching the compensation worksheet or disable the jobSelector.
Note that disabling the jobSelector will remove the ability of promoting your users within the compensation worksheet.
To disable the jobSelector - kindly contact Cloud Product Support to help you set the tag "includeJobSelector" to "false" in your template's XML.
