The following error occurs in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) when using or inserting a measure input control with accounts / measures defined in a widget filter in a story:
- Errors
Server Error
Cannot read property 'getType' of null
OR
- Errors
Server Error
Unable to fetch data due to duplicate measure bindings. Remove the duplicate measure in the Builder or select a different Input Control measure.
The measure input control is displayed in the story but it has no effect on the measures / accounts selected in the table.
Environment
- SAP Analytics Cloud 2018
Cause
Product limitation.
Resolution
You cannot have the same measures / accounts specified in the table widget filter and the Measure Input Control.
- Remove the duplicate measure in the Builder or select different measures / accounts in the Measure Input Control.
