Symptom

  • Not able to connect to database after Windows update to version 1803.
  • Error 5036: AE_NO_CONNECTION.
  • Error 6097: Bad IP address or port specified in the connection path or in the ADS.INI file. 
  • Error 6420: Unable to "discover" the Advantage Database Server.
