2684872 - Upgrade BIRT from version 2.6.0 to 4.3.2 - Ad Hoc Reporting - Q3 2018

Symptom

Cannot see the option to enable the following feature from Upgrade Center:

  • Users can upgrade BIRT from version 2.6.0 to 4.3.2 using the Upgrade Center. This upgrade improves performance of BIRT reports

Cause

Provisioning Opt-Out

Resolution

This new feature (AYT-16601) is a Provisioning-Opt Out, meaning by default the BIRT upgrade is already applied to instances and reports will run on this new version 4.3.2; but you may choose to switch it off.  The label of the setting in Provisioning that will disable this is "Switch to previous BIRT version (2.6.0) for Table (Ad Hoc) reports."

As a customer, you do not have access to Provisioning. To complete tasks in Provisioning, contact your Implementation Partner. If you are no longer working with an Implementation Partner, contact SAP Cloud Support.
