2685153 - Impossible to Delete Default Marketing Consent Channels

In the General Business Partners activity in the Business Configuration work center, you want to delete Marketing Consent Channels. But although the activity shows the status Immediate Change Possible, the Delete button is greyed out.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to work Center Business Configuration.
2. Go to Overview.
3. Open the activity General Business Partners.
4. Select the Maintain Marketing Consent Channels link.
5. Mark one of the Channels that are delivered as default, like FAX.
6. The Delete button for the Channel is greyed out.

The deletion of a default Marketing Consent Channel at this place may affect a channel that is already in use. To avoid according inconsistencies, the deletion of such channels is disabled.

This is the expected system behavior. You are able to select or deselect Marketing Consent Channels in the Marketing Consent subtab under the Marketing Data tab of an Account.
