2685656 - Unable to Rearrange Records in Custom MDF Portlet - SuccessFactors

After configuring a UI for a Custom MDF Object, the fields can only be rearranged in Manage Data page, not on UI (Employee Profile).

• SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
• Metadata Framework (MDF)

1. Go to Admin center and search for Configure Object Definition
2. On first drop down, select Object Definition
3. Search for the affected MDF Object
4. Click on Take action and Make correction
5. Go to Association section and click on details
6. Allow Reordering is set to Yes
7. Go to "Manage Configuration UI";
8. Select a Custom MDF Block and then go to "Properties";
9. Go to Control Options - ensure "Rearrange records" is set to "YES";
10. Try to move/rearrange the records inside the MDF Block (Employee Profile), and see that it is not possible.

It is only possible to reorder child records in Manage Data.

As outlined in SAP Help Portal Comparison of MDF Behavior in Legacy and Latest People Profile reorder is not supported in the Latest People Profile. It will only be possible to reorder in Manage Data.
