2686069 - Background Image in Theme Manager

Symptom

How can I change SuccessFactors background image?
How to upload a custom background image in SuccessFactors?
It's possible to change the instance's background wallpaper?
What's the background image maximum supported resolution and size?

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

Go to Admin Center;
Go to Company settings > Theme Manager;
Choose your theme and click on it;
Expand Fine tune > Click Backgrounds;
Under Background you can choose the following options:

Use an URL (see how to host your image in SFTP in the KBA under See Also section)
Upload a file.
Texture image
No image

Resolution

There are two requirements when uploading a new image:

It has to be equal or less than 1920 x 1080 pixes in therms of resolution, and;
the file size should've only 2MB or less.

Further reference: this is a Full HD resolution hence it should be large enough to display properly across all the SuccessFactors screens.

Note: The image will fit the window size, therefore we do not recommend to use letterbox or frame in the background image since it can not be adjusted to all windows' size. Refers to Theme Settings: Background:

Select No Repeat to show background color if resizing window beyond the size of the image.
