2686375 - SAP Gateway generates OData deltatoken URI segment with "?!" instead of "&!"

Symptom

  • The deltatoken URI segment is generated in the HTTP response body is incorrect (instead of the expected "&!deltatoken" the segment generated with "?!deltatoken"):
    http(s)://<server_host>:<port>/<resource_path>/<resource_endpoint=entity_set>/?sap-client=<num>&$format=json?!deltatoken='<token>'
    AND
  • Sending the above URL as an HTTP request to the SAP Gateway server responds win an HTTP 400 Bad Request with error message:
    The Data Services Request could not be understood due to malformed syntax
