2686386 - Time Off ESS UI Enhancement To Fiori UI

Administer Time UI is PP3 workbench UI(Fiori UI) but Time off ESS UI is not. When is the enhancement expected?

Successfactors - Employee Central Time off

• The fiori UI is avaialble for customer's to upgrade since 1811 release.
• Customer can upgrade to the Time off Fiori UI via the Upgrade Center.

1905 Release update

• By default , all customer’s(having old Time off ESS UI) will get migrated to new ESS UI (time off ) post 1905 ,however we are also providing an option to revert back to old UI via upgrade center. Customers will be able to undo this within 30 days of activation, however, we do not recommend customer’s to opt out of new ESS UI post 1905 as no more fixes or enhancements will be done in the old ESS UI. See artcile 2802412 for details to revert back to the old UI.
• Old ESS UI will get deprecated by 1908 .All customer’s will have to mandatorily use new ESS UI post 1908 release.

Note: All new instances will have the new Fiori UI automatically upgraded and it is not possible to revert back to the old UI.

What is the key benefit, business case, or features of this initiative for our customers? 

The new Fiori UI is supporting accessibility standards and has a responsive design which enables employees to use it both on the desktop and on mobile devices. The old UI was lacking in these respects.

In addition, the new UI also offers features which were not available on the old UI. Specifically, employees will now be able to record series of recurring absences and use the split and delimit function to resolve collisions of absences, such as sickness during vacation.
