Symptom
While performing an upgrade using the Software Update Manager (SUM) an error occurs in the phase "MAIN_SHDPREPUT/PARDISTPRE_SHD".
"ERROR: Cannot open '\\<hostname\sapmnt\<SID>\SYS\profile\DEFAULT.PFL': Not enough storage is available to process this command."

2EETQ231 RFC Login failed
2EETQ261 Start of batchjob "DIST_RESET" failed
1EETQ399 Last error code set is: RFC login to system <SID>
dev_disp contains below error:
"ERROR => <EsNT> CreateFileMapping name=Global\ES_SEG_03_004 ,size=3684 MB, error=1455 [esnti.c 1195]"
In relevant work process log (dev_w**), below error is observed.
"ERROR_COMMITMENT_LIMIT: The paging file is too small for this operation to complete. [shmnt.c 2270]"
Note: this error can occur in other upgrade phases as well.
