Symptom

Customer receiving an error when trying to terminate an employee with job relationships, refer to the error bellow:

DAOException thrown HibernateException thrown Could not execute JDBC batch update

Environment

  •  Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Employee File as MSS
  2. Take Action
  3. Terminate
  4. Save

Cause

A Job Relationship for the user being terminated is currently inactive in the system, the job relationship was manually inactivated in the User Data File (Employee Profile) but was not terminated (does not have the Termination event in Employee Central).

Resolution

To solve this issue customer can do the following:

1. Purge the user with corrupted data in the system.

or

2. Perform the termination action via import.
