Symptom
Is it possible to configure specific days of the month as non-working days in work schedule such that it repeats on a specific order, for example 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturday of every month?
Example: If the work schedule starting date is 01/01/2018, in the month of September where there are 5 Saturdays, September 1, 15 and 29 should be marked as non-working days as these are the 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturday of the month. For the succeeding month, as there are only 4 Saturdays, only October 6 and 20 should be marked as non-working days. Same order needs to be followed for each and every succeeding months.
Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
- SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Time Off
- v12 / People Profile (PP3)
Resolution
Currently, this is not supported in Employee Central Time Off as there is no dynamic configuration that can be defined in work schedule that would set a repeating order for non-working days per month.
If the desired business functionality is required, please consider raising a product enhancement request for our Product Management team's review and consideration. See KBA 2090228 for more information and guidance on how to submit enhancement requests.
WORKAROUND: Work Schedule can be configured in a way that all calendar days in a specific year e.g. 2018 are defined in the work schedule and specific days (e.g. 1st, 3rd and 5th or 2nd and 4th Saturday/Sunday of every month) as marked as non-working days. This requires a yearly work schedule to be created and maintained in employee's job information.
