2688489 - LMS: Q3 2018 - Send email background job performance improvements

Symptom

The background job node runs out of memory when sending out the emails. We have made performance improvement in Q3 2018 to avoid this issue.

Environment

 SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS) B1808 and higher

Resolution

We have configuration to set up maximum number of emails that will be sent at one time from LMS Application.

System Admin -> Configuration -> System Configuration -> LMS_ADMIN

"emailBatchCount"

We have made code changes to improve performance of this background job.
