2688823 - My Direct Reports in Team Calendar Do Not Show Any Employees

Symptom

You are accessing the My Direct Reports filter in your Team Calendar but you are not seeing any employee at all. Since you are a manager in your sales org that has employees, you expected to seem them here.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login in the system (Fiori)
  2. Open the Team Calendar in the left pane.
  3. Select My Direct Reports in the calendar filter.

You see no employees in this view. Since you are a manager in your sales org, you expected to see your employees here.

Cause

Your user does not have access to the Employees view of People work center.

And/ Or

This is because the current My Direct Reports variant is based on the Reporting Line Manager. The organization which you are the manager of is not selected as a Reporting Line unit, so there are no results for you.

Resolution

  1. Go to the Administrator work center.
  2. Open the Business Roles hyperlink.
  3. In the search filter, select All Business Roles.
  4. In the search bar, search for business role ABC (where ABC is the business role of the sales org manager who is not seeing employees in the My Direct Reports inside the Team Calendar.
  5. Open the business role ABC.
  6. Click in the View All button in the upper-right corner of the screen.
  7. Open the Access Restrictions view.
  8. Include access for the People work centre.

And/ Or

  1. Go to the Organizational Management work centre
  2. Find the relevant org
  3. In the Functions tab, include 'Reporting Line' by adding the checkbox.
