2688888 - Page failed to load error occurs when attempting to access Procurement application tile - Fiori

Symptom

  • Procurement application tile shows "Page failed to load" error message with "This can happen if you are not connected to the internet, or if an underlying system or components is not available." detail message
  • Browser console shows below errors:
    HTTP request failed500,Internal Server Error shown in
    [ODataMetadata] initial loading of metadata failed
  • Below error messages in Front-end server error log (/n/iwfnd/error_log)

    a. No System Alias found for service 'MM_PRC_OVP'
        Same error occurs for below services as well
        'C_NONMNGDPURGSPEND_CDS 0001' , 'C_PURGSPENDOFFCONTRACT_CDS 0001' , 'C_REQUISITIONNOTOUCHRATE_CDS 0001'

    b. Invalid or no mapping to system data types found
