• Is it possible to add comments when changing applicant status?

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

You can configure a free text comment box that allows recruiting users performing the status change to capture additional information. Status Change Comments require Professional Services configuration in Provisioning.

1. Go to Provisioning >> Company Settings
2. Enable the option "Allow users to optionally provide comments on application status change".

Additional Details:

• The comment field is reportable and it can be found in the App Status Audit Trail table in Reporting.

Current Limitations:

• This comment box is optional and cannot be made required.
• No additional fields can be added to this page.
• Spell checking, legal scans, and rich text editor features are not supported in this comment box.
• This comment field is not configured in Application Template hence it cannot be added as custom token for emails.

Once enabled, Status Change Comments field will appear when moving a candidate application to another status:

Method 1: Take Action > Move Candidate

Method 2: Action > Move Candidate (selected candidates)

Method 3: Drag and Drop application to another status in the pipeline

Method 4: Update Status dropdown on the application
