2691061 - Attachment Field on Termination screen not respecting RBP

The Button to upload attachments on termination screen remains active (with edit permission) despite having the "view-only" access to this field.

How to disable hide the attachment field from Termination UI?

1. The attachment option on the Termination screen is a hard coded feature and is available by default from the Job-Info section. You could have a custom label to this field by enabling the attachment-id field under employmentInfo element on BCUI. Please see KBA : 2524774
2. However, when this field is granted a "view-only" permission, the users are still able to upload attachments under Termination Screen.(Take Action -> Terminate)

3. The users should only have access to be able to view the attachments but not add them.

The issue has been identified as a bug on the Product

• There is currently no target Fix Pack scheduled for this issue. It is being reviewed by our Product Group
• The only way to make it not visible on termination UI would be to remove RBP on the Employee Data -> Attachment Field, but that would remove the attachment permissions on Job Info too.
