Reproducing the Issue
- In Crystal Reports, create a report based on a Universe that returns a large data set.

Refresh the report.

Notice it returns only 5,000 records, when the expected result is larger than that.
Cause
- The Universe is configured to return 5,000 records only.
- Note: There is no "Partial Results" warning in Crystal Reports, like it does in Web Intelligence report based on the same Universe.
Resolution
- In the Universe Design Tool, open the Universe (.UNV), and uncheck the Universe Parameter option: "Limit size of result to":
- Launch the Universe Design Tool.
- Under the menu "File", select "Import..."
- In the "Import Universe" window, select the Universe the report connects to, and click "OK"
- Under the menu "File", select "Parameters"
- In the "Universe Parameters" window, select the tab "Controls"
- Uncheck the "Query Limits" option: "Limit size of result to"
- Click "OK" to accept the change.
- Save and export the Universe back to the SAP BusinessObjects Repository.
Now, there will not be any limit to the number of records to return to the report.
