Symptom

  • Is BOE webapp supported with security manager enabled in application servers like Jboss or Tomcat?
  • When using Jboss or Tomcat with  security manager, the BOE war file is either not getting deployed properly or giving issues post deployment.
  • Not able to access BI Launchpad or CMC on Jboss or Tomcat when configured with Java security manager.

  • JBoss EAP all supported versions [Eg: 6.4, 7.0, 7.1, 7.x etc] according to PAM
  • Tomcat Application server all supported versions according to PAM(e.g; 9.x)
  • All supported operating systems
