2691276 - Tax Calculation is Incorrect for Stock Transfer Order XX

The Tax Amount calculated for the Line Items in the Stock Transfer Order XX is not as expected.
(XX represents the Stock Transfer ID)

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Supply Planning work center.
2. Go to the Customer Demand view.
3. Show All Orders By Selection.
4. Find the Stock Transfer Order XX.
5. Click Edit.
6. Open the Document Flow tab.
7. Show the Extended View.
8. Click the Journal Entry icon for the relevant Warehouse Confirmation.
   Note: The tax calculated for the Line Items is different than what you were expecting.

You have manually maintained an incorrect Accessible Value for the Product XY in the Stock Transfer Order XX.
(XY represents the Product ID)

You can check what is the Accessible Value maintained for Product XY by following the steps below:

1. Go to the Supply Planning work center.
2. Go to the Customer Demand view.
3. Show All Orders By Selection.
4. Find the Stock Transfer Order XX.
5. Click Edit.
6. Open the Line Items tab.
7. Click on the Product XY Hyperlink under Product Information field.
8. Click View All.
9. Open the Valuation tab.
10. Select the relevant Company and Set of Books.
11. Scroll down until you see the Accessible Value.

Example of tax calculation for the Line Items in Product XY:

Accessible Value for Product XY is 1000.
Cost Unit is 200.
Price of each unit is 1000/200 = 5

Quantity in Stock Transfer Order XX is 8.
Price for 8 units is 5 x 8 = 40

Tax Rate is 20%
Tax Amount = 40 x 0.20 = 8

8 is the tax amount value that we can see in the Journal Entry for the relevant Warehouse Confirmation.

You need to maintain the correct Accessible Value so you get the expected Tax Amount.
The Accessible Value can be changed on the Valuation tab of the Product XY.
