Symptom

SAP Data Services application logs contain errors:

  • In %DS_COMMON_DIR%/log/webadmin.log:
    [ SEVERE ] Unable to create Access Server: <HOSTNAME>:<PORT>, error : Client id Administrator@<HOSTNAME> is already in use
    [ SEVERE ] Invalid connection to Access Server <HOSTNAME>:<PORT> (BODI-3012001)
  • In <ACCESS_SERVER_DIR>/access_server.log:
    ERROR: handleMessage() Client id Administrator@<HOSTNAME> is already in use (BODI-300001)
