2692045 - Application Error upon Submission of Leave of Absence Request


Application error occurs when user submits leave of absence (LOA) request. Same error is encountered when adding actual return date to return employees from leave of absence.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. As an employee, navigate to Time Off ESS page and then request for leave of absence. Click Submit.


  1. Application error message is encountered.



Error occurs when leave of absence event reason associated to the time type being requested does no longer exist / deleted in the system or may have been deactivated




1. Go to Admin Center > Manage Organization, Pay and Job Structures then search for Event Reason. Click Advanced link then change Include Inactives from 'No' to 'Yes' and click OK button.


2. Enter the name or external code of the Leave of Absence Event Reason (Plan) or Leave of Absence Event Reason (Return to Work) on the second search dropdown beside the Advanced Link.

Click Take Action > Make Correction of the latest event reason record in the History section then change Status from Inactive to Active and then click Save button to apply the changes.
