Symptom

Why does the Kentucky (KY) K-4 panel does not have a checkbox for non-exempt?

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 1.0 - All Versions

Cause

The new panel design for Kentucky (KY) K-4 Compliance panel is defaulted as a Non-Exempt.

Resolution

Non-Exempt for K-4 (Kentucky State Withholding)

  • Nothing is selected if the option in the drop-down list is equals to '-- SELECT --', this stands for non-exempt status only and the user is not mandatory to select any option to proceed
  • The only option to proceed with the panel is to tick the certify checkbox
